Service with Style, It’s Sparkle in Service Night!

Pamela Wright, President General

I hope you all enjoyed the Education Awards Night program and are ready for another busy day ahead! I wanted to extend a thank you to last night’s award recipients whose commitment to furthering education, either their own or that of others, is extremely admirable. A special ‘musical’ thank you to our All-American DAR Chorus. I also hope everyone enjoyed the video about the President General's Project and the restoration of Memorial Continental Hall. If you missed the video, then you can watch it here!

Congratulations again to DAR’s National Outstanding Junior Member Amanda Hare. It is truly so special to see the impact you are making on our Society!

Today’s energizing business session includes reports from our State Regents and the nominations of candidates for Vice Presidents General and Honorary Vice Presidents General.

Other events happening today include Get to Know the DAR Museum, Celebrate DAR Philanthropy at DAR Development’s event, or celebrate our Junior Members at the National Outstanding Juniors Club Social.

To top off the day, I hope to see everyone at Sparkle in Service Night, a free come-and-go event, in the Ballroom Level of the JW Marriott from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Sparkle in Service is designed to introduce Daughters to how we can become more involved in our dynamic mission areas! There will also be moments for hands-on Service in Seconds opportunities.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! Looking forward to seeing you all Sparkle tonight!
