For the past several months, we've been working to reimagine the membership application experience through eApps, DAR's electronic application platform. Designed with prospective members, chapter registrars, members and volunteers in mind, eApps will provide a faster, more intuitive, and more user-friendly way to guide applicants through the journey to membership.

Built Specifically for DAR
eApps has been custom designed specifically for DAR's unique application process. Every feature has been thoughtfully developed to support our members, chapter volunteers, and national reviewers while accommodating the complexity of DAR's genealogy and application requirements. This investment in modern technology will help position DAR for the future while preserving the high standards and rigorous review process that define our Society.
Already Receiving International Recognition
Even before its official launch, eApps has been recognized on the international stage.
The project has been nominated for the 2026 UX Design Awards Public Choice Award, one of the world's leading competitions recognizing exceptional user experience design. Selected from more than 500 entries representing 46 countries, the inclusion of eApps as one of the outstanding projects chosen for this year's exhibition is a true honor.
This recognition reflects the outstanding collaboration between DAR staff, volunteers, chapter leaders, and our development partners in designing a first-of-its-kind platform tailored specifically to DAR's membership application process.
