Last night’s National Defense Night Ceremony was a moving reminder of the importance of patriotism and service.

Last night’s National Defense Night Ceremony was a moving reminder of the importance of patriotism and service. As we honored the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, I was filled with reflection for those we lost and for the countless individuals who answered the call to help. Hearing from each honoree was both inspiring and humbling. May their stories encourage us to honor their sacrifices and memories through continued service to our communities and our nation.

Last night’s National Defense Night Ceremony was a moving reminder of the importance of patriotism and service.

This morning, we are closing out our official Continental Congress activities with the Memorial Service and the Tribute to our Founders Wreath Laying, followed by the installation of new State Regents as well as the newly elected Vice Presidents General and Honorary Vice President General. The names of the incoming office holders elected on Saturday are as follows:
