For Daughters of the American Revolution, our world-class genealogy library is one of our most beloved treasures.
After all, this is where our personal DAR legacies take shape. It is here that we first traced our family histories, uncovered the stories of our Patriots, and claimed our place in a community dedicated to historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Our legacy lives here!
But our library is more than a treasured part of our National Society—it is also recognized as one of the premier genealogical research centers in the world. Its shelves and databases hold treasures that cannot be found anywhere else: rare materials, verified lineages, and over a century of meticulously documented application papers. Unlike many commercial sites, our records are fact-checked and verified, setting the standard for genealogical research in America and beyond.
