Introducing an Updated America 250! Logo

DAR is thrilled to announce an updated America 250! Logo. As we near America’s 250th anniversary it was important to make an update to freshen this brand that will be used widely across our Society. This refreshed design retains the spirit of the original, while aligning more closely with the Official DAR Logo. This new design changes the stylizing of the star and stripe, modernizes the fonts and adds an exclamation point – reflecting the style of the America 250! Committee.

The America 250! Logo is to be used by states and chapters as they are promoting their work for the United States Semiquincentennial. It can be used in coordination with the DAR Logo and members can follow the DAR Branding Guidelines for guidance.

We will have a gradual transition period to begin incorporating the new America 250! Logo in materials and efforts. DAR states, chapters and members are encouraged to start using the updated logo in their promotional efforts when it is logistically and cost-effective to do so. The original design of the America 250! Logo is still an accepted and appropriate branded symbol to use during the gradual transition period as our organization begins to make the change to using the updated design of the logo in all chapter, state and national branding.

The new America 250! Logo is available for download on the America 250! Committee webpage. Stay tuned for more America 250! news coming soon! DAR has many plans underway for this exciting celebration!
