Last night’s National Defense Night Ceremony was filled with poignant commemoration and overwhelmed me with gratitude for the emphasis our National Society puts on Patriotism. I hope you all enjoyed the evening’s presentations and honorees as much as I did.

This morning, we are closing out our official Continental Congress activities with the Memorial Service and the Tribute to our Founders Wreath Laying. Virginia Lingelbach, Chaplain General, will lead a beautiful service in remembrance of our departed members which include our beloved Honorary Presidents General, Linda Tinker Watkins and Dorla Dean Eaton Kemper.
Immediately following the wreath laying, we will enjoy the installation of the new Executive Officers, Vice Presidents General and State Regents. The names of the incoming officers elected at this Continental Congress are:

It has been my absolute pleasure to preside over this most sacred DAR tradition of Continental Congress for the last three years and I am so proud of all we have accomplished as a Society during the Wright Administration. Thank you all for your support and kindness throughout my term.
