Continental Congress Attendance Pin
Celebrate your attendance at Continental Congress by pre-purchasing the new and exclusive Continental Congress Attendance Pin! This stunning pin, featuring the iconic U.S. Flag drop in DAR Constitution Hall, is a perfect way to commemorate your presence and honor your participation in this beloved tradition. The pin is available to pre-purchase on the Congress Website or in-person at Continental Congress, click here for more information. Caroline’s Orchids
Pre-order your orchid corsages for Congress! DAR’s first President General, Caroline Scott Harrison was known for being an artist who painted her favorite flowers – orchids. For many years members honored her memory by wearing and gifting orchid corsages during Continental Congress. We are delighted to announce that this time-honored tradition will once again be available at the 134th Congress. National Congress Events
There are still tickets available for many of our National Events – see the list below to learn more about these fun and exciting events. Tickets can be purchased your tickets online before June 1.
- Patriotism Luncheon, Wednesday, June 25 12:30pm - Join us at the Patriotism luncheon to celebrate the American Flag, the patriotic service of our military members, veterans, and first responders, and the DAR Daughters who support them all.
- Historic Preservation Luncheon, Thursday, June 26 12:30pm - Join us for the Historic Preservation Luncheon to celebrate the National Winners of the Project Contest! Our guest speaker is Amanda Isaac, Curator, George Washington's Mount Vernon. She will share with us the new discoveries made about Martha Washington’s style and original garments!
- Units Overseas Luncheon and International Bazaar, Thursday, June 26 12:30pm - Please join us and all of the chapters overseas for our annual luncheon and shopping bazaar! Enjoy shopping at the tables from each of the chapters from around the world and help support them by purchasing country specific items that support their charitable goals overseas!
- Education Luncheon, Friday, June 27 12:30pm - The Education Luncheon highlights the work of the American Indians, Community Classroom, DAR School, DAR Scholarship Committees. Join us as we celebrate the third and final year of the Wright Administration. The DAR School Committee is honored to host this year’s luncheon where we will be distributing the annual proceeds from the donations to the Friends of the DAR Schools Fund as well as the proceeds from the “Schools are the Jewels of DAR" School Pin. Accepting those donations this year will be representatives from all schools including Kate Duncan Smith (KDS) DAR School, Berry College, Crossnore, Hillside, and Hindman Settlement. Let’s show our support of the schools by making this year’s turnout the largest ever!
- Junior Membership Luncheon, Saturday, June 28 12:30pm - Celebrate Junior Hearts Sparkling in Service and all the accomplishments that Juniors have achieved this year!
- Congress Reception, Saturday, June 28 10:00pm - Celebrate the Wright Administration and a successful Continental Congress with light snacks, fun music and dancing and congratulate the newly elected Executive Officers!
