Wright Administration First National Board of Management Meeting Recap

Pamela Edwards Rouse Wright, President General and Lanabeth Lunceford Horgen, Recording Secretary General

What an exciting time for the first meeting of the Wright Administration National Board of Management on July 3!  We welcomed 37 new state regents and 7 new vice presidents general to our highest governance body after gathering for a delicious luncheon hosted by the Property Beautification and Hospitality Committee in the Banquet Hall.  Heartfelt thanks to Maureen Tipton, National Chair, and her committee for the beautiful patriotic decorations and warm welcome.

The following day, July 4, we participated in the Independence Day celebration in our nation’s capital.  Thank you to the overwhelming number of members who remained in DC to walk in the parade and those who cheered us on from the crowd. Jacqueline Leahy, Michelle Sterba and the parade committee worked diligently to cover every detail of the day. We invite you to remain in DC after Congress next year to join us in celebrating our nation during this exciting event.

Lanabeth Lunceford Horgen, Recording Secretary General, will now share highlights of our first NBOM meeting.  You may access the official minutes here.
