It is with joy and excitement that we introduce the team, mission, work, and priorities of the Wright Administration. The Team is humbled and grateful for the faith that you have placed in us as your National Executive Officers for these next three years.
During the next several months, we will use the Today’s DAR Blog to highlight various Administration Initiatives, to get to know our Executive Board, and to highlight the work of the State Societies across the nation.
Administration Theme
The Wright Administration’s theme, “Celebrate Stars & Stripes Forever! Rejoice in our DAR Ties of Service and Friendship” brings all Daughters together as we celebrate our nation’s rich history and our communities. Our theme truly reflects the spirit and potential of our members. As we are moving forward to the 250th anniversary of our nation, DAR needs to continue to present ourselves as the patriotic service organization that we are, and this theme embodies that image.
We approach the Society’s work with a team mentality: more than ever we hope that you will join us as we work as a team, give credit to everyone, and share our sparkle with others. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences and the DAR ties of service and friendship keep us involved and inspired as we serve God, Home, and Country through historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

America 250! Committee Stars and Stripes Celebration Grants
The new Stars & Stripes America 250! Celebration Grants are just one of many sparkling initiatives that are planned as part of the President General’s Project and the Wright Administration more broadly. All chapters are eligible to apply for a $500 grant to be used to promote DAR within your own community during the nation’s semiquincentennial celebration. Be sure to read the America250! I am constantly in awe of the tremendous work that our Daughters are engaging in across the country. Your dedication is making a difference and it is my hope that together we can "Rejoice in Our DAR Ties of Service and Friendship" during the next three years.
Whether you are serving the organization in a leadership role at the national level or as a member attending local events, please take advantage of all that our amazing organization has to offer and roll up your sleeves in service.
