Did you join the new Master Reports Committee webinar entitled, “Seeing the Big Picture - A New and Exciting Way of Viewing the CAA,” on Tuesday, July 26? If so, you were part of a record-setting 1001 members who participated! The information-packed webinar was hosted by myself, the, Master Reports Committee National Chair, and written and narrated by Terry Rubenstein, National Vice Chair – Chapter Achievement Awards (CAA).
The webinar introduced the sparkling new Master Reports Committee, a one-stop reporting place that includes assistance and guidance on both the Chapter Achievement Awards (CAA) and Chapter Master Report (CMR).
The new and exciting CAA changes include ribbons that replace levels. It was announced that the Wright Administration will be awarding national recognition to the top chapters based on four membership size categories. The stars lit up the night sky with excitement after the presentation and on the news that the playing field for national recognition has been leveled according to chapter size.
Additionally, the Chapter Master Report (CMR) is an important reporting tool to recognize the sparkling stars in your chapter. Remember, the CMR is not a competition! The updated online CMR should be functional by mid-September, but in the meantime, you can download a PDF copy of the CMR by going to the Master Reports Committee webpage.
The best guidance for chapters is to begin working on it immediately after it posts. Don't wait till the last minute! Chapters may add items and modify answers until the national deadline of midnight on February 1, 2023, Hawaii time (6:00am on February 2, 2023, Eastern Standard Time). Please check with your state’s Master Reports Committee to confirm earlier state deadlines. Cindy Addison, the Master Reports National Vice Chair – Chapter Master Reports, is bursting with effective tips to celebrate your chapter achievements.
Master Reports National Vice Chair – Communications Kathy Christmann is highlighting our committee’s work via the DAR Master Reports Facebook group and our committee’s webpage. Request to join the Facebook group by providing answers to a few questions. You’ll get all the shimmering Master Reports details to share with your chapters.
