DAR Magazine Office Announces New Contest: American Spirit Superstar Award

The DAR Magazine Office is excited to announce the American Spirit Superstar Award Contest!

Did you know that we met our previous goal of 50,000 subscriptions over the summer? The excitement keeps growing and that number keeps climbing higher. The November/December 2021 issue of American Spirit will soon be mailing out to more than 54,000 subscribers! Will one of those be yours?

President General Denise VanBuren has set a new goal to increase the subscription count to 58,000 to beat the all-time high record of 57,814 subscribers after the excitement of the Bicentennial celebration in 1976—and YOU can help us reach that goal by participating in the American Spirit Superstar Award Contest!

The new contest began on October 15, 2021, and will run through May 16, 2022. The contest will be based on the chapter’s official membership count as of January 1, 2022. All subscription and renewal payments must be received in the DAR Magazine Office by May 16, 2022. Gift subscriptions are acceptable if a chapter member donates the subscription to another member of the same chapter. Does your chapter have new members? Give them a warm welcome gift with a subscription to American Spirit!

Subscriptions and renewals will be accepted by phone, online and mail orders. Acceptable forms of payment are check or credit card. If the preferred method of payment is by credit card, Chapter Treasurers may submit a list of subscribers to [email protected] and the Subscriptions Coordinator will call the Chapter Treasurer to collect the credit card information within a few days to process the order. Upon completion of the transaction, Chapter Treasurers will receive the receipt and confirmation of processed subscriptions via email.
